Hello my people!
Just a little update on all things Joy John Wines.
I currently have our Shiraz popular in the sales- due to the weather. Also due to it drinking really well.
For a red she’s balanced and easy to drink. Being a 2022 she’s still young with plenty of the typical Heathcote boldness, aromatics and palate. Full of flavor and color.
Busy, busy prepping for the annual Joy John Wines Charity Ball on October 19th- again, this year I’m raising money for Orange Door who offer financial and emotional support for women and children in our community that are faced with family violence. Sponsorship requests headed out this week. If you’re in the know of items that can be put into our online auction, then please reach out. Really looking forward to the success this year's ball is going to bring. A new aspect to create more awareness and monies raised this year is to preorder a cap. Stay tuned for the design, it’s subtle but meaningful.
I’m heading off mid-August to France for a touch of work… lots of wine things. This time without my little family which will be a challenge in itself. But I’m also very excited and proud. Perfecting Provence which is known for their Rosé. And Bordeaux for the reds which I want to learn more about, specifically the blending and varieties.
Everything I learnt last year in France I put into this year's Rosé. I have recently launched this little beauty. And I love her. I laughed with my sister on how dangerous it is when I nail a wine. I always get ‘Friday night fever’ and spoil it. Even when it’s not Friday.
So, there’s my update. In a nutshell, the Shiraz is running hot. The Rosé is ace. The ball is almost all but organised, I’m going to France, and I get too socially excited.
All wines currently available online.
Your next email will be first access to the Joy John Wines Charity Ball on July 18
